In the original Marvel Zombies comic series, the undead heroes and villains alike retained their ability to talk, think, and show remorse for their actions. However, when they have the hunger for human flesh, they become more primal. In the MCU's version, the undead heroes hardly have the ability to speak normally, or think logically aside from wanting to feed on human flesh. They more resemble the mindless zombies traditionally depicted in Hollywood cinema. However, they do retain their abilities (Scarlet Witch, Dr. Strange, Wong, Ebony Maw), while others retain their knowledge about how to fight and use their suits/weapons (Falcon, Iron Man, Captain America, Hawkeye, The Wasp, Hank Pym).
The Watcher states that the main events of Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) take place two weeks before the start of Avengers: Infinity War (2018).
When Spider-Man wears Doctor Strange's cape, it represents a fusion of the two most famous Marvel Comics co-creations of writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko.
Danai Gurira reprises her role as Okoye from Black Panther (2018). She also stars in the popular zombie-apocalypse series, The Walking Dead (2010), as Michonne.
