Last week, the world got introduced to Champak, Genda and Gulab, the stupidest Bank Chors ever. First, their antics made everyone laugh out loud in the Bank Chor trailer, that trended #1 on YouTube for three days, and has cumulatively crossed 10 million across the Y-Films social media platforms within a week. Then, the film’s Imaandaar trailer managed to rake up a social media storm as the three chors gave a hilarious dose of imaandaari that Bollywood’s never seen before.
And now, in the title song of Bank Chor, innovatively titled ‘Hum Hain Bank Chor’, the worst chors ever come together for what is certainly the worst Bollywood item song ever! They dance, gyrate and shake their booties in an attempt to lure the audience into watching the film, falsely proclaiming that they are awesome chors. But the truth about their stupidity is fairly visible all through the song.

A feeling of foreboding and damnation builds up in the narration from the first frame itself. Here's a gloriously gutsy film exploring the underbelly of Mumbai through the lives of two slumkids who grow up in identical circumstances but with somewhat disparate values.
First-time director Faruk Kabir displays remarkable skill in creating a pastiche of mammoth crime and little punishment. The pace leaves meager space for grace. And yet Allah Ke Banday creates a world filled with acute aggression repression and damnation with a reasonable amount of paciness to the edgy narrative.
The world that Faruk Kabir's characters inhabit is reminiscent of Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire, Irrfan Kamal's underrated Thanks, Maa, Mahesh Manjrekar's City Of Gold and Chandan Arora's Striker. Deriving its lingering study of juvenile delinquency from these sources Allah Ke Banday moves forward and acquires a life of its own.

He believes this will “render the film more stylish even at the risk of seeming in stark contrast to the rest of the trailer.” He says, “It’s appropriate so long as the sequence blends in visually with the rest of the film.”2D animationThe ...

"'Maula' is a visual interpretation of reality and through this song, I am giving a visual treat to my audience", says Faruk who has patiently waited for a while before his debut flick became a reality by itself, "My target audience is youth and being a 28 year old myself, I am a part of this generation. Sharman Joshi, who said a few lines in the song ‘Give me some sunshine’ in the hit film ‘3 Idiots’, says he won’t mind singing for a film in future.
‘I just narrated a few lines. But I won’t mind singing for a movie…actually depending upon the requirement of the scene. If it requires me to do it, I’ll do it,’ Sharman told Ians.
‘But singing is not my forte. It is something that I’ll have to work on for many years and I don’t know if I’ll be able to manage that,’ he said.
