Such a sad story.
Sleepin_Dragon23 October 2020
This was the first of the stories from the second series that truly got under my skin, maybe it was the fact that they were young kids, or the powerful interviews of the mothers and investigators.

Did Christopher Dansby and Shane Walker end up in the hands of someone that couldn't have children, I know it's a horrid thing to contemplate, but I'd sooner then be living a happy life in ignorance, the alternatives are just too horrid to contemplate.

I thought this was quite a powerful episode. 8/10.

Sad Story
Mehki_Girl24 October 2020
So far this is the only episode that I consider a mystery. Who took the kids? That's the mystery.

Ampadbury, another reviewer, obviously has racism issues. Children are taken everyday and race really has nothing to do with it. Does this person blame whites when their kids are kidnapped? Oh well, racism makes no sense.

Would I have let son play with the little girls or left my son with my mom (27 years older than me btw, ampadbury, you racist). Probably not allowed him to play with the girls, but, yes, leave him with my mom.

Kids wander off in a minute. My husband and I were shopping once and I was looking at some clothing on a table. I looked down and my son was gone.

My husband and I only stared at each other for a scared second. He remember he has a balloon. I ran outside thinking I would see that balloon as someone ran with him down the street. I went back in and he was pretty much where he had been standing by my side.

The feeling in that moment can't be described. I would take my son into the ladies room until he was old enough that women would complain. You send them to school and trust they'll be safe. You let them play outside and trust them to be safe (we actually never allowed that), except once and we watched him like a hawk, while he played.

Like another reviewer said, I can only hope someone wanted children and is raising them. That would be the only hope I would have. The alternative is horrible.

Ampadbury sounds like a really miserable, hateful person.

Heartbreaking

Truly heartbreaking that anyone should ever have to experience the abduction of their child. I hope both of these boys find their way home. Good episode in terms of relevant interviews and facts provided.

Well...This was really sad sorry but one of those cases when you can't blame police for their work. They did everything they could, not a lot to do in that type of cases. It was bad that parents lost their attention of child but you can't blame yourself for that. It just happens. A little bit sketchy how kids wanted to play with such a little child and suddenly strange man sits on the bench and boom kid is gone and no one saw anything. That can't be true, someone didn't want to tell everything they knew.

Most well-done episode of the season.

This was a very sad episode, your heart aches for the mothers. Noone should have to experience what they have gone through and lived with for years.

This was a well-done episode in terms of the family interviewed and the the details of the police searches, as well as showing the work of the criminal sketch artist. There was also some educational information shared about missing children.

Idiot parents.

Warning: Spoilers
How can you leave your very young children in a park alone in Harlem in the 80s to "go to the store". What did you think would happen?? These parents are the worst and admitted drug addicts. There awful lifestyle finally lead to this terrible situation. I feel awful for the children but the parents are to blame. This doesn't deserve to be an episode in the series. They're just trying hard to make it seem like they are not responsible and leaning heavily on the mystery portion. It's not a mystery, you weren't watching your kids in a bad bad area and some crazy person or drug addict abducted them most likely. Great job Moms...

Stolen Kids

Warning: Spoilers
Can't see how people would have their kids in crowded areas and not be watching them themselves, but I guess all it takes is a moment, some kind of distraction, probably can't be stopped. When I walk the dogs I've seen tiny little kids walking by themselves and I look around to see if there's anyone with eyes on them and nope, it's disgusting. Would have to assume those two kids were involved. They have their identities, but she probably should have kept them to try and get a reaction out of them at the time. I know that's also like kidnapping, but they did target the kid. We're not told if the guy on the bench did anything to distract her. Those predicted aging images would be helpful if they're alive, though the predictions are of healthy living, which is probably unlikely.
