The episode is taken up almost solely with the search for Mickey, giving Nicola a chance to interact with a few more people, Callum a chance to play the hero and Lucas a chance to get involved in someone else's storyline. We also see Lou for the first time in a month, with his cold presumably being there to explain his absence. It's a shame he spends most of the episode snapping at people and generally behaving like a bore, especially since his friendship with Toadie is one of the few remaining characteristics left in someone who is increasingly seeming like the remaining member of a double act.
The highlight of the episode is the subplot of Declan, Rachel and Donna becoming trapped in a warehouse. It's nice that, just once, a group of teenagers find themselves stranded and actually have a working mobile phone with them.Donna's endearing eccentricities enliven the material and Declan and Rachel once again make us wonder why the writers seem determined not to put them together.
The episode ends with a confused sequence of Callum running towards Mickey, who doesn't seem to know he's there, while Toadie and Dan run towards Callum, who doesn't seem to know they're there either. It'll be interesting to see where they go with this next episode.
