Poor Geoff and Nicole. The one scene in this episode where they're actually getting along is really sweet but every other scene between them has one or both of them doing or saying exactly the wrong thing. Geoff is at his judgemental worst whilst Nicole, who otherwise comes across quite well, gets insecure and makes some questionable choices. We do at least get to see Geoff and Melody together again, which is something of a triumph. And he even has another scene with Belle. Two in as many episodes-we're being spoilt.
Aden is a lot less objectionable in this episode. His scenes with Melody show him being written as he was earlier in the year;someone who's not the nicest person in the world but is nevertheless trying to do the right thing. But his scene with Belle is awkward, leading you to believe she should keep away from him for both their sakes as she actually seems to be distracting him from getting better.
And then there's that entrance by Bridget. What isn't Tony saying..?
