This short film is about a difficult subject of the Holocaust. In the beginning or the first half of this short fail, we see the Hungarian Jews marching to the Danube River in Budapest, Hungary where they will be massacred by the German Nazis. A young girl manages to escape from her mother who encourages her to make a break for it. There is little dialogue but the black and white is self-explanatory. We watch as she ages until she is an old lady and is met up with today's neo-Nazis as an older woman. It's heartbreaking to see how history is forgotten. The acting is fine but the film remains in black and white throughout the short. I find the black and white helps with the past but I don't think with the present scene where she is confronted by the racist youths of her day.
