We’ve had plenty of Lovecraftian cult simulators, so leave it to a developer like Crazy Goat Games to come up with a Lovecraftian city builder. Worshippers of Cthulhu is currently in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam. The game will launch in Early Access in later this year, followed by a full release across all platforms in 2025.
According to the devs, since Cthulhu “tolerates nothing less than perfection”, the game will head to Early Access in order to deliver a “polished and immersive experience,” with the plan to “allow players to spend much more time with the game and go even deeper into the Cthulhu and city-building mechanics.”
As you might of expected, the story for Worshippers of Cthulhu has you leading the eponymous cult, with the goal of guiding your flock towards the ultimate goal of awakening Cthulhu. Every decision rests upon your shoulders; will...

Numero Group is finally giving Majesty Crush their flowers with Butterflies Don’t Go Away, an upcoming double-lp collection commemorating the oft-overlooked shoegazers’ beloved discography.
Majesty Crush formed in Detroit in 1990 and were opening for bands like Mazzy Star and Royal Trux shortly thereafter. After a few smaller releases, including 1992’s Fan EP, the quartet signed with Elektra subsidiary Dali Records. But when Dali folded less than a month after putting out Majesty Crush’s sole LP Love 15, their bright future burned out fast.
Out March 29th, Butterflies Don’t Go Away compiles all of Majesty Crush’s material, from Love 15 to various singles to the Fan EP (the latter of which will be available digitally for the very first time on February 20th). Pre-orders for the double-lp are ongoing, and as a preview, Numero and Majesty Crush have shared the Fan EP version of one of their best-known tracks,...

Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal has been a rage at the box office ever since it was released on December 1. Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film is working wonders overseas and has currently secured the spot for the 3rd highest-grossing Indian film of 2023 in the UK. In doing so, Ranbir Kapoor has snatched the spot from Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

Bad news, Riverdale fans: Jughead won’t be getting a family reunion in the final season.
Skeet Ulrich, who played Jughead’s dad F.P. Jones on the CW drama for five seasons, will not be returning to reprise his role in Season 7, co-star Madchen Amick tells Decider. “He was invited back, and the plan was he was going to come back. But then it fell through… I think that was Roberto [Aguirre-Sacasa]’s intention, to have everybody back that he could in that last season. There was an episode that was dedicated to his character, but it didn’t happen.
