The gang is back for the second half of B&R and finally we get to see them in action. For those of you who haven't seen Part 1, please refer to my review of the first film to bring yourself up to speed.
Okay so, Bernice(Nadia Buari) still hates Rhyme(Omotola Jalaide Ekehinde) and the hate was turned up a notch towards the end of part 1 when her Bernice's boyfriend Jay(played by Jim Iyke) began to show interest in Rhyme. The plot develops further in this second installment as Bernice tries to put a stop to whatever is blossoming between the two behind her back.
On the other hand Rhyme deals with allegations of a sex scandal brewing behind the scenes of the competition, where judges have been soliciting girls for sex in exchange for a guaranteed spot in the next level of competition. When Rhyme is propositioned by one of the judges (naturally she refuses to sleep with him), she is left to try and join teams with Bernice to try and take the crooked men down. But will Bernice put aside her hatred for the cause?
I rated this part a point higher than the first because we finally get to see them perform and actually compete in this part. The bickering and cat-fighting from part 1 made me nauseous after a while. LOL! Uche Jombo co-stars. B+
