Paramount+ today debuted the official trailer and key art for season two of the original animated series Transformers: EarthSpark. The first nine episodes of the second season will premiere on Friday, June 7, exclusively on Paramount in the U.S. and Canada, and on June 8 in the U.K., Australia, and Italy, with additional territories to be announced at a later date.
Transformers: EarthSpark introduces a new generation of Transformers robots – the first to be born on Earth – and together with the humans who welcome them and care for them, they’ll redefine what it means to be a family. In season two, the Emberstone has shattered, and it’s a race against the Decepticons to find all the pieces.
Limitless power will be at the fingertips of whoever holds the artifact… Amidst the chaos, Robby meets someone special; Mo uncovers an ancient secret in Witwicky, and the Terrans level up.

The Neil Patrick Harris vehicle "Uncoupled" has been canceled after one season on Netflix, according to Variety. The gay rom-com made just eight episodes before getting the axe; even the combined star power of Harris and "Sex and the City" creator Darren Star behind the camera couldn't save it.
"Uncoupled" followed Harris as Michael, a New York City real estate agent whose heart gets broken when his partner, Colin (Tuc Watkins), decides to leave him after 17 years together. Michael spend the next eight episodes attempting to get over Colin (when he's not trying to win him back), get the hang of the modern gay dating scene, and navigate relationships with his friends and a wealthy real estate client (Marcia Gay Harden). Harden received a Critics Choice TV nomination for her turn as a brutally honest woman going through a situation that parallels Michael's, but otherwise, "Uncoupled" didn't make much of a splash.

Congrats, everyone! We’ve finally made it to another spooky season. To celebrate, Netflix is highlighting its best horror content on its list of new releases for October 2022.
It wouldn’t be October on Netflix without a new Mike Flanagan title. Thankfully the Midnight Mass showrunner returns with The Midnight Club on Oct. 7. This series, adapted from a book of the same name, takes place in a hospice for terminally ill teens who have all made a gruesome pact. This series will be followed up by other creepy TV titles like Unsolved Mysteries Vol. 3 on Oct. 18, 28 Days Haunted on Oct. 21, and most importantly: Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities on Oct. 25, which will collect eight terrifying stories from the famed director himself.

Any franchise with multiple incarnations will feature dozens of different kinds of characters. Transformers is no different, with factions of different bots that are far beyond simply being Autobots or Decepticons. The amount of different kinds of bots are almost too numerous to count (unless you have a very big toy collection) so the reveal that Transformers: EarthSpark is set to have a new kind of Transformer is a welcome one.
The newest Transformers are the Earthborn Terran bots, Twitch and Thrash, who prominently feature in this exclusive trailer for Transformers: EarthSpark. Watch it below!

While hardcore fans may rush to find examples of Transformers coming to life on Earth in past series, EarthSpark looks to be doing something completely different with the characters of Twitch and Thrash. The trailer makes it clear that they’re born on...

Photo: ‘Dead End: Paranormal Park’ The Beginning of the (Dead) End: An Introduction Once again, it’s time for me to review a piece of Netflix-exclusive animation based on a comic series. Today I’ll be taking a look at ‘Dead End: Paranormal Park’, based on Hamish Steele’s ‘Deadendia’ graphic novels, which was in turn based on his animated short released on Frederator Studios’ Cartoon Hangover YouTube channel. First published in 2018, ‘DeadEndia’ is the story of two teens who work at a haunted theme park, accompanied by their talking pet pug. In the animated series Dead End: Paranormal Park, vain ghosts, egotistical demons and a hilariously haunted park are no match for human teens Barney and Norma and talking dog Pugsley.
Neither are TV animation’s traditional age demographics. One of the newest entries in the “Netflix School Special” programming block, the show mixes horror and action elements with comedic and heartfelt coming-of-age storylines — led by two Lgbtqia+ identifying teens — in ways that defeat the age-old animation binary that sees content strictly for adults or (younger) kids.
The series exists instead within a space that has more noticeably emerged during the last half-decade: young adult animation. Dead End creator and showrunner Hamish Steele tells The Hollywood Reporter that when they were developing and pitching the show between 2018 and 2019, “there was some stuff like [Cartoon Network’s 2019-21 anthology series] Infinity Train, but that realm didn’t really exist.
