A great lead up to the last episode, bringing some things full circle and ending with a bang.

Are You Going To Make A Thing Out Of This????
wandernn1-81-6832747 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
So I'm not really sure what is going on here at the Start. Pavel is in his car and getting calls regarding his wife. News crews are gathered outside his home.

Something is coming up about Pavel's wifes involvement in THE FOUNDATION. Which is apparently involved in some sort of embezzlement scandal.

Pavel says his sister in law is being framed. I guess I better figure out the name of his assistant because I keep seeing more and more of her.

Now wait a second what does young Pavel see when he looks out the window of his house??? His dad loads a shovel and stuff into his car and goes digging in the woods??? And Pavel, super stalker that he is, follows his Dad's digging. What is his Dad digging for?? LOL His Dad spots him and knows he is there. His DAD has super night vision!!!!

+1 Star for Super Night vision!!!

One thing I can say about young Pavel's parents, they have plenty of BOOZE in that house. Good for them!!! BOOZE is key to a happy life!! Whoa, Dad says his mom has abandoned them and won't ever be coming back.. That she ran away. Wait, WHAT WAS DAD BURYING IN THOSE WOODS??????

So back in 1994, the Cops are torturing the Greenhouse dude to get him to confess to killing the kids. But he won't confess.....

2019... Pavel visits Greenhouse dude in PRISON. Man this show flips from past to present so quickly it's hard to keep up. His name sounds like Malchek. He tells Pavel that he fold them NOTHING. And that he is getting out in a few months so why would he make new enemies. He tells Pavel AGAIN, that he didn't kill any of those kids. Pavel wants to know about his sister.... and Malchek knows something but he won't tell Pavel. Good for Malchek, I wouldn't tell Pavel either, for letting Malchek being convicted for murders he didn't do. Good job Prosecutor you A$$.

Pavel meets with a guy about the Foundation embezzlement scheme and finds out it was MING that was behind the framing of his wife/ sister...whatever. And he goes to find MING at her work and finds out she quit a few days prior. Pavel gets her phone# and address. He calls and gets voice mail.

Arthurs dad comes to Pavel and asks him if Pavel knows what happens if he admits that's his son Arthur that they found???? They talk about all the implications such a reveal would bring on the family.

+1 Star I like that scene and the possibilities that arise from it.

Pavel wants to meet with Lara's Dad. Pavel stops by Lara's and they share a bottle of wine!!!! This is not good! Lara is a married woman!!! Haha.

Back in the forensics lab, they find the body that was found belongs to a woman in her 40's . That is revealed to Pavel. They still have not recovered his sister's body. And this rape case is still expanding.

Pavel finds out big reveal on camera footage he's reviewing. He turns it over to the inspector that thinks Pavel is some sort of murderer. And when Pavel comes out of the police station, his tire on his car has been flattened. Good thing Pavel's relationship as a prosecutor with the Police is so good. Pavel gets a ride from Lara. I guess Pavel is not so good on changing a tire with a spare.

-1 Star for not having a spare tire and changing it himself..... Be a man.

Oh but then Pavel is MAN in that car with Lara. They share a kiss!!! Oh dear!!! But Lara is a married woman!! Shame on both of yous!!!

Pavel is going to see Lara's Dad, Mr. Goldstein. Pavel confronts Goldstein with the fact Arthur came to the Home to visit him just recently. Pavel wants to know wht Arthur wanted. Back at the cop shop they find out who owned the car dumping the body in the video footage. It was Mr. Goldstein. And in the parking lot of the center, Lara gets in her Dads car and finds blood! All these things right now pointing at Mr. Goldstein as being a killer!!

+1 Star for the multiple angle reveal....

What did Pavel see in the woods??? Pavel saw Goldstein getting a BJ in the woods that night. A BJ from who was that??? It was another guy! Was it Arthur??? And Goldstein told Pavel never to tell anyone.. To protct Lara. And Goldstein and Pavel fight, and Goldstein has a gun....Pavel is shot. But Lara shows up just in time to shout DAD DAD NO! And Goldstein oh man, Goldstein shouts 'YOUR SISTER IS DEAD!' BEFORE putting the gun to his head and blowing his own brains out!!!

+1 Star for that ending...that was unexpected!!!!

Certainly a peculiar turn of events...

This episode is very all over the place for me due to its two very different plots. On one hand this episode starts by focusing on the present day legal scandal which has now become an embezzlement scandal which I just find super boring, but then it takes a dive right into the most insane woods-related reveals of the series so far, and I mean REALLY insane. So overall I think it balanced out to be enjoyable, and the ending in particular was very very shocking.
