Linnea Quigley said in a March 2021 interview that people keep asking her for updates on this film but she said she doesn't know anything about the sequel because no one has ever approached her about it even though it was announced in April 2019. She also said she'd probably play Spider again if asked, but she's kind of hesitant because she considers the first one perfect and doesn't want to ruin it with a horrible sequel.
Brinke Stevens said they wanted to include Linnea Quigley in her Spider role from the first movie, but Quigley shattered her knee cap a week before the 2022 summer shoot in Ohio and couldn't travel. Instead, they brought actress Kelli Maroney onboard as Spider's sister. Quigley did appear in flashbacks used from the first film.
Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama 2 is one of the Deadly Ten films currently being filmed back-to-back by Full Moon Productions as part of a unique online project. All ten pictures were originally going to premiere exclusively on Amazon starting February 14, 2020, but plans were delayed due to the pandemic.
Brinke Stevens' feature film directorial debut. She said Charles Band of Full Moon called her in 2019 saying he was remaking Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-o-Rama (1987). Stevens thought he was asking her to star in it so she reminded him she died in the original. That's when Band said he wanted her to direct it. She immediately accepted, excited for the opportunity. But then the pandemic derailed production in early 2020. They didn't get started again until two years later.
Producer Charles Band purchased an historic 1930 mansion in Cleveland Ohio (dubbed "Full Moon Manor") soon before production began. To save on costs, he decided to film it there and painted the walls hot pink.
