A good look at the elaborate sets and tremendous CGI in making "Zoom"
SimonJack18 January 2022
This is a short documentary on the making of the 2006 comedy sci-fi film, "Zoom." Most of this video was made with interviews of the cast and crew and some very good scenes with background information on the sets and casting. Apparently, Tim Allen was the life of the film off camera and behind the scenes. Kate Mara, who plays Summer Jones, says that Allen was only missing from the set three days, during which time it was very quiet.

This video has some very good background on the extensive set, the robot "Pibb" and the significant amount of CGI in the film. It's most interesting hearing how the technical experts put the film together - integrating and coordinating the CGI aspects of scenes with the live characters.

This is a good behind the scenes look at the making of "Zoom."
