Watch a group of 1000 Mayan calendar followers gather in Brazil to train and prepare for 2012. The hippie count-culture is alive and well and getting ready for the end of the world. They gather for 13 days (to symbolize the 13 moon calendar) in the middle of the wilderness and live off the land in order to practise for 2012. Some people believe that 2012 will bring the end of the world and some believe that 2012 will mean a time of enlightenment for humanity. Either way, they believe that they must prepare for large changes. However, not everyone who comes is there to work, and the gathering quickly descends into the one big naked hippie party with only a few doing all the work. There is no leader and they can only make decisions by total consensus, and with 1000 people participating this becomes a bit of a chaotic nightmare. It's a fascinating view of a present day counter culture in action. A real "survivor" for hippies and 2012 believers.
