You have to give Liz Alexander credit here as the desperately deluded Christine, a character who would be pitiful if she wasn't such an unreasoning tyrant.Irene is ridiculously naive in suggesting everything's going to blow over but we can at least take comfort in the fact that Christine can't control Melody forever. And with this being Home and Away it'll probably all be sorted by bedtime.
While viewers with long memories get some development in Morag's search for Miles' friend, we see the apparent end of the Miles/Jazz relationship. The problem is it's hard to see who's in the right-whilst Jazz is undoubtedly out of line, Miles does seem unnecessarily judgemental in simply casting her aside when things go wrong.
Giving Christine a run for her money in the villain stakes is the slimy Gavin. He's obviously planning something more than just revenge on Belle and it'll be interesting to see where he's going with this.
