- Some aliens can have their arms and legs fly off (though this is very cartoony and not that scary)

- In a particularly gory and very graphically violent cutscene, a soldier appears before the player, but there is a camouflaged enemy behind him, and it sticks its claws into the soldier, brutally and graphically tearing the soldier in half. This is probably the bloodiest and most graphic scene in the game.
- In one level, there is a creature called the Swarm, and it literally swarms around a person, and tears them into pieces, and in three instances, their intestines and organs splash up against a window wall. These are the second bloodiest and most graphically violent sequences in the game.
- A man is impaled by a tentacle in the distance, not very clear.
- A man is shot in the head (though it is offscreen.)

- Lots of the locations the player visits are very creepy and not suggested for younger audiences. Aliens lurk hiding in the game and attack you often.
- Some frightening looking monsters which may scare you.
- Gameplay is similar to the prequel and it should be fine for anyone who has played the prequel.
- In a disturbing level, you face off against a camouflaged enemy who has sharp claws on both hands, and a sequence occurs where a soldier is graphically ripped in half, which is both a jump moment and a very gory and violent moment, while also being very very disturbing.
