Madrid County, California was the fictional setting of the 1971 CBS television drama Cade's County, starring Glenn Ford as Sheriff Sam Cade. Madrid County was a vast domain of mostly sparsely-populated desert, and was seemingly modeled on the real San Bernardino County.
Though having a pivotal role in the movie, Loretta Swit didn't make the cast listing.
In the Movie, and TV series, the cast pronounces the name of the town ma-DRID. The name of the town in New Mexico, where this was filmed, is pronounced MAD-rid.
