One of my favorite characters

My favorite characters in this series are Nick Brewer's sister Pia, Nicks 2 sons, and the cop. So it was great to have one of Nick's teenage sons as the focus of the episode. The stuff with his online "friend" was also very well done. Great drama and tension in this episode.

Does anyone else ever watch a mystery show and jokingly mentally target the least relevant side character, framing them as the perpetrator of everything? Well this episode's developments made that part of me very happy. What made me a little less happy was the realisation that I had been directly misled by actual footage from The Mistress... but that's not that bad. Also, the new character is interesting. Not sure what the point of introducing her so late is but the next episode will tie into it well I assume. Also also, hilarious how Ben Park completely dropped out of relevancy, that's exactly what I expected.

I like the bit at the start where the racist bully had a go at the other blokes mum and made some nasty aspersions about her sex life and tried to antagonise him but instead he walked away but then his brother stepped in and few some. He copped a few for his troubles but he also landed a couple of goid ones. Then they broke it up and some other more important stuff happened like sone text messages and internet stuff but I wasn't really paying much attention by then. My wife reckons it had the original Pippa from home and away in it. I'll have to check that one later. That chick with straight blonde hair featured prominently once again.

Okay here we start with Nick's son, Ethan. And Kai, get's in a fight at school and is threatened with charges.

Good for Kai to fight the mouthy kid. +1 Star

But Ethan is talking on the phone with some 'friend'. He lies to PIA and says he's really met this 'friend' in real life.

Wife and PIA have another fight. Ethan now wants to meet this 'friend' The 'friend' gives Ethan an address and Ethan takes an UBER and goes there. And BLAMO! Okay! The 'friend', Allison, is really, Allison! Haha +1 Star

They are still diverting all attention from the nondescript friend of the family.

Okay, this ep. Is dragging dragging -1 Star

Then here he is.... NONDESCRIPT FRIEND! I KNEW IT!

Matt, says it's not him.

Ruh Roh, Kai is not in his room! Where is KAI??? Oh Kai is walking with some sort of weapon. To an address he got off Ethan's phone? Oh this should be rich.

6/10.

Wokeness knows no bounds

Warning: Spoilers
Can we have any series/movies without some type of swipe towards cops?!?! This ep would've gotten higher rating if they just stuck to what was working. The mom yells at Pia saying why did you take my black son to the Oakland police station. Then says some more woke BS then yells at the son saying that her and dad told him he cannot just walk into a police station . Such lazy writing that is. It is irresponsible to preach such disinformation to the audience. This should not have been allowed to air and should've been edited.
