Jenny Young and Darius Perkins in some style manage to keep the whole Kim and Scott 'Romeo and Juliet' style runaway plot going. It's so gentle and softly played, with a subtlety you certainly wouldn't get in modern soaps, or even latter day 'Neighbours'.
Other than that we get the ongoing bullying of Danny Ramsey by Dad Max (they really haven't made him very likable, have they?) and the reappearance of Julie Robinson (ditto).
Alan Dale steals every scene he's in to, knowing exactly how to pitch his almost saintly character.
It's another lovely episode from the very, very early days of the show I really miss. It's a pleasure to be able to go back to the start and revisit it now.
