A bit slow

The start is very cold , whole thing is slow acting, no actuality on feelings and emotions, Hope the coming episodes gets better, and no need for alot of silent moments.

The first episode of the new season feels a little bit underwhelming. A solid premise, but I feel like they needed to reach a bit to keep Poppy involved in these murder investigations, everything would not come off as organic as it did last year, and that is definitely true here, but there hopefully will be a lot of twists and turns as things progress.

The first season was good, but I don't know if this is a show that has a 5-7 season shelf life in it, and if episodes like this are any indication than that is the direction it appears they are going to try and head and extract from this Apple TV+ drama.

More caricature than character

I am sorry but none of the characters are believable. All of them are exaggerated whether it is pronunciation, socio economic and racial cliches or simple behaviour. This series wants to point out social injustices, prejudice and inequalities but no one can take this serious as all of the characters are so obviously acted over the top and simply thrive on the social cliches they incorporate. A caricature of racial loaded American values and society, nothing else.

What's up with Kate Hudson not sure if I haven't seen her in anything in a while or what but I can barely recognize her. Besides that the writing doesn't seem as good as the first season even dare I say cheesey?
