Just watched this episode, it had me on the edge of my seat. Deserves 10/10. Well done to everyone involved in the show. 9-1-1 is one of the best if not thee best show on tv at the moment.

Maddie got kidnapped by his psycho ex husband and Josh got beaten up for being too kind. Stop putting them in pain😭 but aside from all of that it's a great episode and clever writing.
(REWATCHED) in all seriousness this is honestly one of the best 9-1-1 episodes even better than the Ocean 9-1-1 Heist last season. It was really well thought out and the comic relief at the end was just the perfect amount. I've noticed that they sidelined Eddie from these past few episodes but that's all good cause the next episode is Eddie Begins.

What a sensational episode! Even better than the LA tsunami episodes at the start of the season. Which isn't something I thought I would be typing! Absolutely top-notch storytelling.
A tense, taut, heart-pounding episode that really allowed the 9-1-1 dispatch centre operators to be the star of the show, when they so often play second-fiddle to Athena and the 118 truck guys. In "The Taking of Dispatch 9-1-1" they are the centre of all the action. There wasn't a second I wasn't on the edge of my seat as a gang of gun-toting mercenaries overran the Dispatch Centre.
With limited screen time, Chim and Buck were great, forced to stand on the sidelines for a change, unable to do much of anything to effect the outcome of things.

Why did they had to Ocean 11 this episode too? The rest of the episode was so good, I really got into it. And was rooting for the « 911 guys » to make it. I usually hate episodes like these. But the writing and acting made it entertaining, and it was suspenseful. But then again, why couldn't they just close the show properly, and leave the last minutes out? I didn't care about Tiffany, or the guard she seduced. And how they explained it, was too contrived, and anticlimactic.
