A group of nursing students stumble upon Sammi, a bloodied woman being chased by vampires (turns out they're NOT really vamps, but humans with 'speedy recovery' but I digress) soon enough they're holed up in their apartment with heinous vamps knocking on their door. For a low-budget flick, the film was moderately well-acted. At just over an hour, the movie moves at a brisk enough pace and there are worse vampire films out there (but there are also much better ones out there. I'd say this is middle of the proverbial road stuff. Not worth praising nor worth damning. The only feeling it provoked for my is ambivalence and indifference. Oh however I DO have to drop my grade down a letter for the very open (non)ending.

Couldn't get into it

This movie is about four nursing students getting ready to go out for the night. They stumble upon an injured woman and decide to help her. When they bring her back to their apartment, some mysterious visitors show up looking for the girl.

It turns out that the injured woman, Sammi, is a vampire hunter, and she has been bitten by the leader of the vampire cult. The story turns into a battle of survival between the college girls and the vampires. Everyone dies except Sammi and one of the nurses, who is injured so badly that she is near death. Sammi bites her, turning her into a vampire, and they pledge to track down and kill the rest of the evil vampires.

I didn't care about anything in this movie. The characters were almost indistinguishable, except for the snide alcoholic nurse who kept calling everyone "junkie." I wouldn't usually criticize a low budget movie for technical flaws, but there were some scenes that were so poorly lit, I really didn't know what was happening. Definitely never need to watch this again, and wouldn't recommend it for any reason.

The product is marketed as either one film or a film with a short.The half hour "Money Vampire & Weed" appears in front of the much longer (1 hour or so) "Crimson." The first short is about 3 girls who get jacked by a fourth girl who subsequently dies leaving them with a bag of money wanted by a vampire. It includes a dumb blond. The second feature is about there "Chi Eta Pi" sorority nurses out for a good time who meet Sammi (Stuart Brazell) and have vampire issues. Film includes a semi-dumb blond.

Not much to see here. Film didn't hold my interest. Worth a hacker punch even with beautiful young ladies on the screen all the time.

Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity. Not even a pillow fight.

Vampire-themed bore

CRIMSON is another worthless shot-on-video vampire story with zero redeeming features. The tale is about a trio of annoying party girls who meet up with an injured girl who turns out to be a vampire hunter who has been bitten by a vampire. The action is set inside an apartment ravaged by vampires, but this slow and talky drama has no supernatural content and is merely irritating and obnoxious in equal measure. The characters are self-centred and indistinguishable and the story stalls from the outset.
