Truly a Great show and here's why...

Let me tell you my taste in humor. Now, I usually don't watch shows for humor, rather sheer entertainment. My favorite show is King of the Hill, and my other is Beavis and Butt-Head (I worked hard to get all 200 episodes.). My least favorite shows are Family Guy and other Seth McFarlen cartoons, seeing not only no humor present, but no good entertainment value. If you're anything like me, you'll love the Goode Family. So where do I begin? Well, Helen's father is voiced by none other than Brian Doyle Murray...isn't that enough. If it isn't let's take a look at the first thing I noticed, the animation. It is a very stylish animation with line of texture on the background. The color pallet is also interesting, but maybe it just looks this way because it's a new show. The characters are well designed, maybe even more so than in King of the Hill, and while all but Bliss are pretty oblivious, they're actually quite likable. Helen is certainly funnier than Peggy (I never really liked Peggy, but it just so happens that she is Mike Judge's favorite character). The plot is goode especially for a pilot episode. It certainly handled the subject better than South Park, because Mike Judge didn't rely on being crude to get a point across.It really was a nice cartoon, and I mean that like how King of the Hill is often more Heart-warming than funny. So is the Goode Family, as oblivious as they are, they have some nice moments, especially the end of the pilot. I didn't find anything wrong with the episode, nothing really fell flat on its ass. My friend complained about Che, but I actually liked him. Check out the Goode Family Weds. on ABC. 10*
