The 1.21 million viewers and 0.5 in the 18-49 demo is nothing to scream about, but it did beat a couple of The CW's comedies and almost beat the overrated low rating's comedy Everybody Hates Chris on Sunday April 20, which was brand new and only got 1.26 million viewers. The Game got 1.51 million viewers.
The CW’s failing Everybody Hates Chris (Viewers: #5, 1.26 million; A18-49: #5, #5, 0.4/ 1) and a repeat of Aliens in America (Viewers: #5, 1.20 million; A18-49: #5, 0.4/ 1). Had the CW been in better shape, Everybody Hates Chris would not have already been picked up for next season. The CW’s The Game(Viewers: #5, 1.53 million; A18-49: #5, 0.7/ 2) and a repeat of Girlfriends (Viewers: #5, 1.39 million; A18-49: #5, 0.6/ 1). Worth noting for The Game, once again, was the noticeable growth out of Aliens in America. (source: Nielson Media National Data)
I think had people known what MyNetworkTV was and what station this show would've got 2.5 million viewers or more. I think it should've been bumped on FOX for a couple of airings or waited until Smackdown arrives this fall.
MyNetworkTV needs to stick with this show as they need original programming and develop around it.
