I am really glad I have seen this movie. My wife and her friend made me go to see this movie and I am happy to admit I am very positively disappointed. The plot is fine - no major flaws. Characters are well described. They simply live their lives. Despite of the fact you do not know what they do their living from. Most important issue they are not paper made. The emotions are very strong. As for workshop issues all seem to be fine: sound, pictures, editing. This could be a movie for everyone - not only Polish typical cuisine. With good translation even the Elnglish would have good fun of it. The movie feeds from "Fours weddings..." but with no clichés. I am glad this director works with these producers. I have read the interview with him planning "Monte Cassino" war movie of Polish victory during WWII. I would be crossing fingers for his success. He knows how to tell stories. This is very important.
P.S. Two points minus 10 for: 1. Borys Szyc - this character seems to be living his own life. It was forced correlation with "Testosteron". Some may like it. I did not. 2. Erwin Igor character - either flaw in casting or this actor is simply poor. I felt like watching a 5 year old telling his parts. 5 year olds were better.
Besides, all was fine. And I am happy. R
P.P.S. Some viewers may feel disappointed with the fact, that "Testosteron" connections so widely mareketed before the movie went to cinemas is rather vague. However I believe producers have no choice - Testosteron was quite a good movie coming from the same wokshop thus it seemed reasonable to catch attention of its fans.
