Factual errors: In the first part of the movie you will listen many times the narrator to use the word Sun as a similarity for Son (Jesus - The Son of God). Sun (and son) is an English word. This is just a word game that is irrelevant and fictional. The proof to that is that during that period the English language was not used, but only Greek and ancient Egyptian was spoken. In Greek word for Sun is "Ilios" and Son is "Yios". moreQuotes:

You can call me a cynic, but I need citations or some other proof of the "facts" presented in this "documentary. In the first 20 minutes a single citation is listed and then it only lists a person (G. Massey) and a job description (Egyptologist). From this the documentary appears either amateurish, or worse, deceptive.
The film uses shocking images, quick edits, and an authoritative voice to persuade the audience. It is meant to influence the viewer affectively, not engage them intellectually. Facts that would counteract the argument are simply ignored, no attempt at balance is even given.
Just one example, the film asks you to believe that crucifixion is the shared death of "sun/son" gods. This is categorically not the case. The film mentions Dionysus as such a typical deity, yet his death in Orphism was that of being cut to pieces and eaten by the Titans. Attis, another example, in Greek mythology died as a result of being gored in the thigh by a boar. Horus in Egyptian mythology died as the result of a scorpion sting.
So check for yourselves, all you have to do is google some facts, heck the first two can be found in wikipedia under "orphism" and "Attis", the last one is found near the bottom of this page:http://www.touregypt.net/HORUS.HTM Simply put, it is lying to you.
