Desi figures that Mac lied about just going to the bathroom, just as the lights go out and then the chef brings the flaming main course into the dining room. Chad is apparently unharmed, and Mac leads Desi over to ask Chad what's going on. Chad says that there's nothing going on and tells Mac to stay out of his kitchen. Riley starts to tell him her own secret, and Donovan and his men come in. Donovan tells them to shut up, introduces himself, and explains that he's Chad's "silent partner" until Chad stole $2 million. Chad told Donovan that the $2 million is in a restaurant access that Aubrey has access to. Aubrey says that he'll get Donovan the money, but he needs his Porta-Key to access the money at his home.

When Donovan hesitates, Riley says that she's a hacker and recites her credentials. Jennifer gives Riley a computer, and Jennifer and Donovan argue while Riley warns that she can't lock. Mac tells them to wait for his signal, then starts talking to Donovan and Jennifer about how relationships are hard and sometimes people in them lose their trust of each other. Jennifer tells him to sit down or she'll shoot out his kneecaps, and Mac spots a candle and an aerosol can on the counter.
