NO REAL CHIMPER

I am a professional chimp wrangler, and I know as a fact that the character in this film is not a real chimpanzee. It looks nothing like a real chimp either. This CGI abomination proves that in modern society, we value fancy gadgets and computers over good old fashioned chimp labor. The directors of this film could have taken this in a great direction, this film could have had amazing potential. There have been a stream of great chimp-based spy films and television shows, including "Lancelot Link", "Spymate", and others. But this film, unfortunately, appears to have taken more after the film "Funky Monkey", which is the worst film I have ever watched. Now this film does not bring out the murderous rage that "Funky Monkey" did, but the CGI chimp coupled with the extremely mediocre, pro-interventionist plot make this film extremely dissapointing. I just hope this will not set a precedent, and directors will continue to utilize the boundless acting skills of real chimpanzees. This film could have been so much more. Bring back the chimps.

A CG chimpanzee and not an ape named Sam does spy field work and can talk. He works for JUNGLE Command under the direction of Boni James (Sophia Alongi) his teen handler. They are after Alpha Dog (Skip Schwink) a serial loiterer who is planning to take over the world from Wolf Dog Island with a secret weapon. He has gathered cliche villains to the island and it is up to Sam to find out what is going on.

The film is for children, preteen and younger. Parents might find some minor amusement in the film.

We should have a refund policy in movie theaters

This is exactly the type of movies that shows the need to have a refund policy in movie theaters, from the first minute you know you have been fooled to pay for it.

I have no idea how they allow such movies to be shown in public, this must be illegal.

It is like if someone really went out of his way to make the movie this bad. Even my 9 year old daughter said the monkey, oh ape, doesn't talk much. The movie is nit even remotely funny at all. Silly beyond my expectations. The movie had some potential, but it seems it was made to be bad, really really bad.

Nothing happens in this movie, they are just showing some scene to make it long enough to be a movie, but it can't be called a movie. The characters and acting is awful.

This is really, really, really, bad. I don't understand how they thought this was a good idea. I haven't even watched it yet. I've just seen the trailer and I think that'll do for me.

A Religous Experince

This movie has changed my view of the world as I knew it. This movie single handedly cured my depession. Therapy? Naw I got C. I. Ape dammit! Now as for the contents of the movie... It's just as amazing, I mean, look at the absolutely stunning cgi this movie makes Dune look like Ratatoing. The story of this movie is immpecablible aswell it runs the gambit of all the emotions, all two of them! During this movie you will feel confused and hysterical. All I need from a film. One final note, I was a bit dissapointed that the sex scene was 30 minutes in stead of 25 however the coreography in it was still really good regardless so I can't really fault it for that. After I finished this movie I thought to myself,"why is this movie like this, and why can't all movies be like this" 9/10 would recommend.

I actually like this, i really like the humor, the story is...spy kids 1quality (do what that if you will) it really doesn't take itself seriously at all so i guess if you have kids its something you can enjoy too

Masterclass of a film

The Godfather, Star Wars, The Dark Knight, ect... These are all amazing films, but none of them compare to possibily one of the Greatest films of all time, C. I. Ape. The characters are some of the most outstandingly amazing acting I have ever seen. Chrome Dome, played by Angel Rosario Jr is amazing when it comes to the dialouge he presents to us, and he is a side character, so imagine everyone else. The plot is gripping and the action is amazing. I give this film a 10 outta 10.

Only one thing needs to be said about this master class of film and thats soon to be award winning. They havent won anything yet but thats because mobody can see the masterpiece in front of them. Better than movies like inception or avengers.

C. I. APE is low-budget, straight-to-video fair that is all too common to see in places like the redbox rental machines or one of the ad supported streaming services like Tubi TV. That being said, I was actually really impressed by how the completely CGI chimpanzee looked in this. It is obviously CGI, but he looks cute! The plot is a little slow, and the actors are not recognizable, but the production quality is overall pretty good considering the budget. The lead actress looks familiar, but I am not sure if it is from seeing her on some Nickelodeon tv show or something like that. This is just a fun movie for children about a chimpanzee that is a secret agent. It has some funny gags and a nice message for kids.

Quite possibly the greatest movie ever made...

Masterpiece, Best piece of cinematography I've ever seen

This movie was what most would call a masterpiece. The plot was derivative, the humor was splendid and the line delivery was some of the best ive ever seen. When the chimp says "How bout them bananas" I busted out laughing. One of my favorite movies.

I LOVE APE

I loved the part where the ape was given a medal by Ronald Regan for toppling multiple democratically elected politicians and flooding Black American communities with the newly de-legalized crack cocaine in order to reduce the power of American minorities. Overall a good example for my children whom I am raising to control the shadow government that hates black people and is also run by lizards.

The acting it the best and the CGI effects are absolutely top notch. Watch this film as you will not regret it. I have never laughed so hard at a comedy film for ages. It is the best film of 2021.

Favorite Family Movie I Own

Truly captivating, a proper emotional rollercoaster. This piece of cinema will take you on twists and turns ranging from happiness and genuine elation, do downright sadness and despair.

Cuddle with your loved one, settle in for the ride of your life. Neither of you will forget the emotions you have felt and it will only bring you closer. Go to date night movie.

Only complaint would be that it's over a little too soon! 11/10.

This film changed my life

My life has been a pit of darkness as of recently, I lost my house, I had to move in with my aunt since my relationship with my parents spiraled out of control, I had basically nothing, until I watched C. I. Ape. There are truly no words to describe the sheer power that this masterpiece of cinema contains, it seems to warp the hands of fate themselves into finally giving me something I haven't had in any capacity for months; hope. The absolute magnitude of anger and misery that any other film has provided me is now invalidated. I have finally been enlightened, C. I. Ape saved me from everything. I cannot recommend any other inferior flick that isn't this. Watch it now, and see it for yourself.

I recently watched a movie that was an absolute delight, filled with engaging storytelling and memorable characters. Best ever

I'm a big fan of Sofia Alongi and Skip Shwing, so when it came to my attention that they would be sharing screen time in an ape-driven movie I was ecstatic. First I did the impossible to get my hands on the script, cause I NEVER watch a movie without reading the script first. I'm a huge movie nerd. Well, it turns out the script was nothing short of genius, so I immediately bought my tickets to be in the front row of the renowned Chinese Theater in Hollywood for the movie premiere.

Was I expecting too much of the film? Did I really wanted /needed to push my Alongi-Schwing fandom so far? Well, let me tell you something: It was all worth it. The top notch CGI and the acting elevated my spirit and opened all of my chakras. That's how good this movie is. I spent the whole movie wondering if the ape was actually a real ape or plain CGI. You know what? I'm still not sure. I think they CGIed the talking parts cause apes can't actually talk. That's what the guy at the theater told me when I kept shouting "It's a talking apeeeee!!!!" out of my lungs.

So that's that, best movie EVER.
