Best episode of the season
Mark Fish really did a wonderful job moving the plot forward, he also co-wrote one of the best episodes of the first season "Sort of Like a Family". I really love how the trio started the season, but what I most love about them is that they're really bright to know when to bring someone else in to shake things up. The episode delivers that thrill of uncertainty and fear with just looks and silence between Glenn Close and Rose Byrne that we hadn't seen yet since the last episodes of the first season and the it puts Patty on the verge of impotence that is delicious to watch. Such great work, Fish. Tate Donovan did an excellent job directing his first episode of the show, the pace couldn't be more right.

More Sociopaths
Hitchcoc7 April 2017
Walter Kendrick reminds me of some of those Gene Hackman characters that are approachable on the outside, but venomous on the inside. The episode starts out with a roast where Kendrick is in a dress (part of a ritual). The comedian takes shots at him, but doesn't realize he has crossed the line. Kendrick beats the daylights out him in the men's room. Ellen continues to do things to prove that Patty was responsible for David's death. She continues to make nice with the Feds. Meanwhile, Purcell allows the merger to go ahead (protecting his daughter) but then decides he wants nothing more to do with Kendrick.
