Probably the highlight of the season so far, not least because it's the first one to tell a solid story with a beginning, middle and end rather than getting caught up in a meandering and increasingly obscure story arc, while still picking up important threads from early episodes and setting things up for the future.
Mel and Maggie's encounter with the roguish Ray is something very unexpected after events earlier in the season, but he injects a much-needed sense of fun into a show that was beginning to get a bit serious. He's not remotely trustworthy but neither is he all bad.
Macy finally gets something to do other than moon over Harry (although there's a bit of that as well). She meets up with a well-intentioned philanthropist whose plans are nevertheless a threat to the Charmed Ones, resulting in a pleasingly morally murky situation.
Jordan doesn't appear much but begins to get closer to the truth about Maggie, which is to be welcomed.
