Tak: Hey, Jeera. You seen Jibolba?
Jeera: Yeah. He left you a note.
Tak: [reading note] "Dear, Tak. Traloc was right. I am old."
Jibolba: [voice-over on note] Traloc was right. I am old. And forgetful. And old. I can no longer be your mentor. I've gone to where old shaman go to wither away. Good luck with Traloc. Goodbye forever. Jibolba.
Jibolba: [voice-over on second note] P.S. Did I write that I am old?
The plot is bare bones. Basically, there's this shaman who almost ruin tribes peoples live except for his friends (like Squirrel Boy, it suffers from poorly written, repetitive story lines). However, the main antagoinst characters that are in the show: Lok, Zariah and Slog, are not only some of the worst cartoon characters I've EVER seen, they suck at what they do. Slog and Zariah have the personality of wood. There's just nothing good about them. Lok is extremely annoying, but at least he has some personality, albeit for the worst. There is another character named Chief, who unlike the 3 above, is somewhat likable and actually does his job well. But Chief's half decency is buried underneath the rest of the garbage that Tak and The Power of Juju contains. The worst thing about this show would have to be the "humor". There is nothing funny about this show whatsoever. It tries so hard, but ultimately fails miserably. If the show is a comedy, why am I not laughing? This is one of the few cartoons I consider worst than Squirrel Boy (I'm looking at you too, The Goode Family and CatDog). There's nothing redeeming about this show and I hope it is removed from television soon.
much as I hate NN now and when I was starting to like it,this comes in an ruins it again. This is based off some kind of video game series, but they should've left it that because the writers fails make it true to itself. Crap and the Power of DooDoo is about this Shaman's assistant who ruins the life of tribes people. Now,the first thing that fails is the dialog. It's too childish and annoting that it can make someone mad. It's so bad that it makes Yakkity Yak look like a winner. Most of the characters are all annoying. Tak is the protagonist and looks so disturbing. His teeth look like they haven't been brushed and he has bad eyes. Chief is the leader of the tribe, but is really an idiot. His voice sounds like he's getting choked to death, looks like a bear that's been shaved with a woman's razor. Lok is the worst of the show. He sounds like he's on drugs, tries to be funny, but fails and looks like a rip-off of Waluigi. Slog is the brute and why dose she look like a mutant grass-hopper? The humor are just stupid like pranks which Lok calls "Bad Luck",a love drug and many stupid ones. The voice acting is poorly done too. And even worse, Nicktoons is still rerunning it. Why?! This is so bad that nothing is good about it and it's got promoted to deadslot. I'd rather watch Barney than see this junk,I'd rather watch Squirrel Boy than see this junk,I'd rather hear Ziggy Marley music than this junk's voice-acting. In my opinion, this is the worst show ever aired on NN,on TV and just fails on so many levels. Take this S**t off now,and we will all be happy.
If you're looking for clever jokes, good animation, and solid voice acting, then you're looking in the wrong place. Tak and The Power of Juju is an all-out assault on the eyes and ears, and the humor is unbelievably poor. The writing and animation is so awful that Tak is the show's butt monkey. All of the voice actors come across as being extremely uninterested, particularly Chief's voice actor, who sort of sounds like your creepy pedophile neighbor who you rarely see outside his house.
The show's most glaring flaw is its animation, which lacks detail and boasts terrible, childish animation and dull character designs. The show can't even be bothered to add artificial sheep wool, so instead we get flat, textureless wooden floors in Feet for dancing. The animation, as I mentioned before, is terrible. Characters move (and act) in childish ways, particularly when making fun of/accusing Tak.
The humor is almost nonexistent. I've seen more episodes of this show than I'd have liked to, and not once have I even managed a chuckle. Any joke that could potentially be even slightly humorous is immediately killed by Lok yelling act Tak for doing something stupid, as if the audience is too stupid to get the joke, despite the fact that it's all humor we've seen elsewhere.
Stay away from Crap and The Power of DooDoo. It's a complete pile of trash, and that it's still on the air is insulting. The fact that a good amount of people seem to enjoy it is perhaps even more frustrating. Until people start to realize that The Tak cartoon series is complete and utter junk, all I can do is cross my fingers and hope that it gets taken of Nicktoons sometime in the near future.
