Warning: Spoilers
Clearly based upon the story of Steven and Cary Stayner One kidnapped and held captive for 7 years; the other a serial killer.

Interesting story but horrible final scene

Warning: Spoilers
CBS has had a lot of issues the last four years. The network took a serious downward turn after "Elementary" ran for seven seasons. NBC declined this Dick Wolf creation and CBS should have gone all-in but the network had poor writers and producers on this series and the two spin-offs. I don't recall a show that lost as many core characters in its first three seasons than "FBI: Most Wanted."

The final showdown in this episode was predictable and poorly designed. I can't really blame the director because most fans know something is likely going to happen to Kristen, who has lost confidence in being a field agent. Plus, those that researched her character know she doesn't make it to season 3. The 5 D's of gun defense, which all rookie cops should know, apply similarly to knife defense too. Instead of keeping her gun in the ready position, Kristen reaches for Maggie and Kristen gets stabbed. It didn't even look like Maggie was about to be stabbed. Harry (NYPD Detective) just stands there when he could have pistol-whipped the killer in the back of the head or kicked the back of his knees. Why have Harry involved in the scene if he ends up a non-factor in ending it? It would have made more sense to me if Maggie had been injured and Kristen felt guilty about it - plus - Harry had intervened. Before trying to handcuff the killer, Maggie should have ordered him to put his hands on his head or get face-down on the floor. One of the agents, including Harry, should have seen the killer going for a knife and said something. It was bad TV. Sadly, that's what I expect from CBS.

I knew almost immediately who the killer was. Just a little too predictable.

Predictable and stupid!

We know who the murderer was very early. Nothing interested after that. If this series is to show how great work the FBI does, this episode shows the opposite. I managed to see it through just to see if I was mistaken, but sadly I wasn't.
