When the ball ends up in the haunted house, Harry carries the baseball bat with him in the next couple of pages when he and his friends head to the haunted house. From page 4 and onwards, his bat disappears without an explanation where he set it.
At the end of page 4, Earl and Stinky push their friend Harry in through the front door where Harry skids on his heels. At the beginning of the next page showing inside the house, Earl and Stinky switch positions while pushing Harry inside.
On the first page, the tower structure of the haunted house with windows in the likeness of a face is facing the field where Harry and his friends play ball. On the third page as they approach the haunted house, the windows on the tower structure's windows are facing towards the front.
The game's plot depicts Harry and his friends searching for their baseball that ends up in the house they consider haunted, in which they sneak in just to find it. Technically, they are trespassing which it is illegal to set foot in any abandoned properties without obtaining legal paperwork or supervision to set foot on any abandoned property just to find something.
In Earl's imagination of nearly being eaten by a werewolf, his oversized shirt is waist-length in one of the frames before he starts to wriggle from the werewolf's grasp.
On page 4, Harry knocks on the front door during the main plot, but it is propped open and it doesn't move when it should if it's propped open when knocked.
On the cover art, the corridor that Harry and his friends tiptoe in has purple walls. In the game, the same room's walls are green.
On page 11, after Harry's dog Spot finds the ball, Harry loses his hat after he and his 3 friends Amy, Earl, Stinky searched in the room with the mirror for the ball while Harry had his hat on. But on the final page, Harry tells his friends he lost his red hat and has to go back in the haunted house to find it. But at the end of the story, he somehow found it with no explanation where he lost it.
Harry and his friends explore different rooms of the haunted house without any explanation what floors each of the rooms are on. The exterior of the house is a Queen Anne-style house that is three stories tall.
On Pages 8 and 9 depicting a nearly empty room with only a game of checkers and a kitchen respectively, an elevator-like sound is played at random if the player is idling, but no elevator is present on any pages showing different rooms of the haunted house.
While Harry is playing the role of a batter on the first page, none of his friends (or even his pet dog Spot) are in the catcher's position (opposite of Earl being on the pitcher's mound), should Harry get either a ball or a strike.
Earl is depicted being on the pitcher's mound while Harry is the batter and that Amy and Stinky are the catchers in assistance and wearing mitts. It is out of character for Earl not wear a baseball mitt like Amy and Stinky do, since it is also a pitcher's job to catch the ball, especially when the batter gets either a ball or a strike. However, the four heroes alongside pet dog Spot are just playing baseball for fun.
