Islah Abdur-Rahman, Michael Truong, Robert Hoang and Inayat Kanji trained in Korean Military Mixed Martial Arts for 8 months in order to complete a fight scene in the freezing cold over the course of 5 days of shooting. There were no safety guards or gloves. Every punch, kick and block was real and they made direct contact.
The whole film was recorded with only 1 radio microphone because the crew couldn't afford to buy another set. Actors shared the 1 microphone and it was shot & edited in such a way that no one would ever be able to tell.
The entire film took 2 years to complete with a £0 budget, the film only received a small sponsorship after it was 90% completed.
Islah Abdur-Rahman recorded in the studio for 6 months with famous singer/songwriter Sonna Rele, who brought on board producer Sauce (previously produced for Will Smith, Brandy, Ne-Yo). Islah sang and beatboxed every song in the soundtrack.
