No women allowed
bkoganbing18 April 2020
You have to believe that Irish Danny Reagan just loved investigating an exclusive WASP establishment like the one where a woman's body is found. Marissa Ramirez has even less reason to like these people, women can't get in the door except for a quick slap and tickle.

Sex is also on the mind for Tom Selleck who has to investigate a sex scandal involving some of his high brass. He solves it most unofficially.

Steven Schirripa and Bridget Moynahan have a major disagreement over liberalized bail policy. One perpetrator Schirippa makes a crusade about nailing and it almost cost him his life.

The Selleck story is the strongest in this episode.

Really, Baez? Really ??
bbcds30 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Just saw this episode again on a channel I forget. This is such a good show. I like to binge watch often and really love the dynamic of Frank and his three loyal yet very strong charges. Ok back to this episode and my issue with it, albeit years after it initially aired. The men's club existed legally. They didn't require any females to sign off on it or voice their approval of it. When a woman dies there, Danny and Baez arrive to do their job. Good. But, Baez must start bashing them for being sexist? Why? Is this a dangerous medieval practice of having a men's only club? I thought it was ridiculous to have this character react this way. An odd reference here if I may. For those of you old enough to remember the 70s sitcom All In The Family, the main character was Archie Bunker and viewers usually referred to him as a bigot. My point here is that Archie's views were always intended to be wrong thinking while Baez's opinion here was intended to be righteous.

Funniest episode imo
tnvzwbytd14 February 2022
This episode was by far the funniest episode in my opinion. I loved the honey do list with Jamie and Eddie and I thought it was a perfect way to show the struggles and worries they face in their relationship. I also loved Anthony and Erin in this episode from Erin scaring him in his office and punching him in the hospital bed. Overall it made me laugh.

don't believe the other reviews, this was a good ep
MiketheWhistle18 April 2020
Ok was this an ep with a lot of men v women - yes, but it was still a good ep. the male vs female storylines served to advance the story and in my opinion wasn't agenda driven. Part of the reason I say that is because there's not another ep that was like this whereas if it was because of an agenda there would be more ep's showing such an agenda. By far more agendas in the series are based on race, immigration, and questionable police tactics.

In fact, the male v female was through all the storylines, but that's ok. I remember my Dad having his honey do lists and I've had mine. The exclusive club was a plot device and it worked well towards solving the crime.

So watch the ep, recognize that there are male and female issues, and just relax.

Odd
tndlc7 December 2019
It was odd to see Christmas decorations and hear the family discuss the start of the Christmas season while the grass was green in the yards and tress were covered in green leaves. Not sure there are lots of green lawns in NYC in December.

Worst Episode of the Entire Series
Kevemcc10 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
It seemed almost everyone was out of character. The only storyline that made sense was the dead girl and even that wasn't well written.

Men bad - Women good
kkmoeigep8 December 2019
If you despise feminist drivel and the assumption that all men are chauvinist pigs and all women are angelic creatures incapable of error, then skip this episode.

Man Bashing?
insideout09815 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Of all he shows on television - and with few exceptions, BB's is the one place I can go to get away from al the SJW crapola littering the airwaves. This is why I am perplexed as to why the show would start a crusade against men? Maria Baez was totally off the rails, highly unprofessional and abusive in the face of a crime scene when the male club members were respectfully answering questions! Is this going to be her character's defining narrative, or will she go back to being a professional detective who offers restraint and professionalism to Danny when he's unhinged? If this happens one more time, I'm out. There are private women's colleges, clubs, and everything else in this country, but the show didn't go after them. Stick to the script, kids, and leave your libby biases to Will & Grace.

Ridiculously Horrible
sweetnsassymae12 December 2019
This was the worst episode of this entire series. If you like to listen to women think they're deserving and better than men, you'll love this episode. From the beginning with Baez having a huge issue with a men's club to Jenko and her ridiculous "I'm worried" BS. You've been married all of 10 minutes. Just a stupid episode.
