Uncomfortably up close and personal.

I live far outside this world, so where the cameras went into the neighborhoods where the shootings occurred felt a little dangerous - even one of the subjects commented he needed to get out of there before his shooters came back to finish the job. The subtext of children in images throughout was chilling, and the sprinkling of medical insights provided depth without deviating from the main storyline. I didn't expect myself to experience any sympathy, but I did and found myself trying to justify those feelings. Carefully and thoughtfully told stories woven together - a must see especially for anyone who thinks this subject is too far from their world.
