This episode was fair, not bad but nothing exceptional. In the last segment, it offered a little too much information too fast, which it makes tough to digest the story and get involved with it. It seemed like every 30 seconds there was new angle, a new twist. Making the above worse was the fact they had two stories so each one felt rushed. I know I was tired when I watched this particular show, but I'm sure I wasn't alone in feeling this way.

The first story started in typical CSI-Miam-type fashion with a beautiful girls gyrating to rock music and dressed in skimpy clothes in a spectacular background. In this case, one of the girls slid down a tube into a gigantic martini glass and began dancing. All of this was high atop the Manhattan's Time Square skyline in front of a billboard. Soon, something was shooting something at all the people and the girl fell into the water and was somehow electrocuted.

The second story was about a burglary gone bad with a woman being killed because she had identified the bandits, who had already shot someone else. Tension is added to the story later when the doctor trying to save the life of the girl gets threatening notes about his brother being kidnapped and harmed if the surgeon saves the girl's life. CSI members have to solve the case and rescue the kidnapped at the same time! Both of these stories wound, as I mentioned a bit too complicated, especially the one of the girl in the martini glass, who has so many wounds on her that "Sid," the medical examiner, keeps having to change his story on what he thinks killed the woman.

Note: This is another episode where we see "Det. Jennifer Angel," who is slowly getting a few more lines in episodes. She's played by Emmanuelle Vaugier, a pretty and sexy actress who reminds me a bit of Vanessa Ferlito, a regular (and a favorite of mine) in the first season of CSI-New York.
