The Joker : [screams up into the sky, voice echoes] KAHN!
Deathstroke : Shut up or I'll gut you.

Batman : [Batman drives around in his Batmobile with a defeated Scorpion, then a doll resembling The Joker appears on the windshield and Batman stops the Batmobile before the doll explodes] I don't have time for this nonsense.
[Gets out of the Batmobile]
The Joker : No, no, no! You were supposed to die when the clown exploded.
Batman : Sorry to ruin your night, Joker.

Batman : Alright, Joker. You wanted me?
The Joker : [Coming in] Well, well. If it isn't Batman. Sorry about before, you know: the *running away*, that was rude of me. You'll be happy to know I won't be running away anymore.
Batman : I know you have a trick up your sleeve.
The Joker : [Checks his right sleeve] Nothing up this sleeve, let's check the other one.
[Checks his left sleeve]
The Joker : Nope, nothing up my sleeves.
Batman : [Becoming angry] I don't have time for this.
[Is pushed to the ground by The Joker]
The Joker : Now, you're all mine!
[Defeats Batman]
The Joker : I did it, I beat Batman!
[laughs maniacally]

Batman : [Gets up] Not yet.
[Tazes The Joker]
Batman : You cannot *rage* if you're out cold.

Captain Marvel : Darkseid's energy merged with energy from the other universe. Dark Kahn's mere existence is what causing the two universes to collide.
Superman : That explains the attacks on me and the rest of you. The strange fluctuations of our powers.
Lex Luthor : It was you - your heat vision. You blasted Darkseid's boomtube and sent him hurtling into some unknown universe. This is all your fault.
Superman : You accuse me? You helped Darkseid invade the Earth! Remember?
The Joker : Fight, fight, fight, fight!
Captain Marvel : Both of you calm down. You're being poisoned by the Kombat Rage.
Lex Luthor : Poisoned by what?
Captain Marvel : The dark energies from the world merge. We can't fight them on ourselves. We need to work together to find Dark Kahn.
Catwoman : I have lives to spare. How do we find this Dark Kahn?
Superman : If Dark Kahn is made of Darkseid's energy, it's a good chance he's on Apokolips.
Lex Luthor : I know where we can access one of Dark Kahn's portals. I used it when Catwoman and I escaped. If their portal can take us to Oa, it can take us to Apokolips. Deathstroke, you and Joker secure that portal. This device will lead you to the base. Report back to me when you've succeeded.
Deathstroke : You want me to assault an enemy base with him?
The Joker : Come on. We'll kill things, blow things up. Oh, it'll be fun.
Lex Luthor : Catwoman, you're with me. Can't be too safe in this town. Too many criminals. Superman and Captain America, you gather your hero allies and wait for my word.
Superman : All right, Lex. I'll trust you, for now. You get to the portals, I'll go to the Fortress of Solitude and pull up everything I know about Darkseid. No killing. If one of you steps out of line, believe me, I'll know.

Batman : [Having Liu Kang tied up in the UN Space Station] Computer, match the blood of Liu Kang with any of the known alien DNA that we have in the data base.
[the computer could not match Liu Kang's blood with any of the alien DNA]
Batman : Hmmm. I need to know that if I can expect anymore...
[Alarm sounds]
Batman : visitors.
Raiden : [Appears] You will release Liu Kang at once.
[Zaps Batman who gets up easily]
Batman : Let me guess, you are from the same world as Liu Kang and Scorpion.
Raiden : How is it possible?
Batman : Insulated armor.
Raiden : Release Liu Kang.
Batman : First, I need answers.
Raiden : Rlease Liu Kang, or I will take him from you.
Batman : [after Batman defeats Raiden, Raiden gets up and goes to Liu Kang and escapes with him, then Batman sees Earth with yellow lines cutting through it] Its worse than I expected. Much worse.

Superman : You don't fight for him.
Raiden : Neither do you.
Dark Kahn : Silence!
Superman : It seems we have a common enemy.
Raiden : And a common goal.
Dark Kahn : On your feet! This battle is not yet over! You will fight!
Superman : Don't give into the rage, Raiden. It can be overcome.
Raiden : Focus. We must focus.
Dark Kahn : What are you doing?
Raiden : If we fight together, we can channel his own energy and use it against him.
Superman : Sounds like a plan.
Dark Kahn : Face each other or face me. It makes no difference. You will FIGHT!

Superman : I'm Superman. We need to know your intentions.
Raiden : I am Raiden, God of Thunder. With me are the mightiest warriors in all the realms. We have come to challenge you in Mortal Kombat. You will be defeated.
Superman : Don't be so sure, Raiden. If you want a fight, you'll find my friends and I are up to the challenge.

The Joker : [to Kano] I hope you'll put up more of a fight than blondie did. Because this Joker... is wild.

The Joker : [Pushes Deathstroke out of the way] Step aside, Death Joke.

The Joker : I'm undefeated, unstoppable. I bet I can even kill... Batman.
[laughs maniacally]

Raiden : [Mortal Kombat Storyline ending]
[Raiden is now in Shao Kahn's Palace]
Raiden : Superman. He's gone.
[the others appear]
Raiden : Shao Kahn's throne room. The realms have been restored.
[Then, the group hears growling]
Kitana : Who are you?
Darkseid : I am Darkseid! I am Dark here.
[Tried to shoot lasers from his eyes, but fails]
Raiden : [Appears before Darkseid] If you're anything like Shao Kahn, you will find no refuge here. Your fate will be decided by the Elder Gods.
[Sends Darkseid to the Netherealm, where he is chained by two stone pillars]

Raiden : [Mortal Kombat Storyline first lines]
[Narrating]
Raiden : The Realms are in constant flux. They shift and change like an endless dream. Shao Kahn's defeat should've marked our victory against a threatened merge of Earthrealm and Outworld. Instead, it heralded a new struggle for independence.
Quan Chi : [Shao Kahn comes out of a portal with Quan Chi following after him] Shinnok will be displeased with your inability to take Earthrealm.
Shao Kahn : [With great anger, Shao Kahn slams his hammer to the ground] Hold your tongue, scorcerer.
[Then, Raiden appears]
Shao Kahn : Raiden!
Raiden : [Using his lightning ability to subdue Shao Kahn] Your invasion of Earthrealm has violated the rules of Mortal Kombat, Shao Kahn. Your Tarkatan horde has been routed by the forces of light. Even now, your allies dessert you.
Shao Kahn : [Seeing Quan Chi trying to escape through a portal] Quan Chi, traitor!
[Runs after Quan Chi and hits him with his hammer, than Raiden uses his lightning to pin Shao Kahn to the portal]
Shao Kahn : What have you done?
[Then, Shao kahn disappears]
Raiden : [Aproaches Quan Chi] Earthrealm will never succumb to the forces of darkness, Quan Chi. Now, you'll face the judgment of the Elder Gods.
[Sends Quan Chi to the Netherrealm]

Sonya Blade : We couldn't stop them either. They overpowered us.
Raiden : How can this be?
Kano : There's a skinny one. Dressed in purple with green hair. Stronger than you think.
Scorpion : I've faced him before. A jester with a twisted face.
[Then, Liu Kang and Shang Tsung appear]
Shang Tsung : A clown? You were defeated by a clown?
Liu Kang : It might be what you said, Shang Tsung. Powers fluxing.
Kano : [Gives into the Kombat Rage and points at Liu Kang] I don't need you to make excuses for me,
[Then points at Shang Tsung]
Kano : and I don't need your approval!
Liu Kang : [Gets in Kano's way] Kano, calm down.
Kano : [Pushes Liu Kang aside] You can't handle them, couldn't even handle me!
Shang Tsung : We shall see.
