Each series starts in the house of the recently passed-away grandfather - clearly a man who has traveled the world. In the house the two leads - Dimitri and Pieter - find a letter of their grandfathers hand that contains a mission: " Dear grandchildren, please return the objects you find in these boxes to their place of belonging. I brought them home as gifts, it is now time to bring them back. But there is more, use them - discover the 'what, how, who and why' of each 'treasure'. " These objects are the crowbar: as well to break open the difference of the tradition as to guide Pieter and Dimitri on their way. Objects: * India - Ganesh * Mali - a mask * China - a dharma wheel * Mexico -4 corns of mais The cultural adventures of Dimitri and Pieter take place in real life, but have a strong fictive dimension. The leads travel to the underworld, get possessed by the ghost who lives in the mask, encounter gods, get kidnapped by a dragon, meet the parents of Ganesh, die and get reborn; all in the real world.
