Quotes

  • Yalda : The Jedi are as much hypocrites as the Sith were cowards. Claimed to bring balance to the Force, while hating its complete essence. We have put all the pieces into place to make their ignorance their own downfall. We are the Greys; those of order, perfection. What is perfection?

Noru : Embrace facts. Do not fear them as the Sith, do not deny them as the Jedi. The imperfect must be ruled, but never rule. The Greys are continuously purged of all imperfections.

  • Yalda : We change things. Ethics. Rules. Change is poison to dogma; a growing blur between good and evil. The Stormtrooper; once a disposable clone, now the end product of unfortunate child soldiers - yet slain as the former by the hands of the resistance: the Jedi. So, their reputation shall dwindle. The Skywalker will return, Noru, but too late. The modern people will no longer tolerate the Jedi once again deciding which wars to fight, which perils to dismiss. Who lives, who dies. When there's too much chaos, people want answers - answers no one will give; not the Jedi, not the Sith, not us. But, we do bring order in the chaos. You have passed, of course.

  • Noru : Master Yalda, what are your thoughts on life and death?

Yalda : Facts. Nothing more. The Jedi mistook their spiritual form for immortality, while the Sith lusted after physical immortality that simply does not exist. The Greys walk the path of perfection. Destroy, if necessary, to move forward. Yet, it is in absolute perfection where only the Force can reside. And only the Force, not man, can control life and death.

  • Yalda : The Jedi.

Noru : Light side. Respected and trusted. Barely survived the war. Hopelessly deluded and arrogant by their religious dogma and obsolete dreams. Complacent with their past victories and mystical ways. Their path of the Force: stagnant. They treated the Dark side as nothing but a common foe.

  • Yalda : The Sith.

Noru : Dark side. Feared and fearful. An eradicated legacy. Those of facts, science, but too afraid to face them. Fear of death pushed them away from the very power for which they hungered. It confused, and, ultimately, destroyed them.
