Stupid mistake
kaspercmhermans28 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Come on Jack... you knew the FBI had been compromised and you gave the most important drive of the world to a random FBI-agent.

Chloe, Larry... they knew they where watched and they went on with it anyway. Apart from that, great episode. Especially the Renee-Jack-scene at the end.

Great Drama And Amazing Set Up!
jigsaw-9125 December 2010
Warning: Spoilers
This episode is fairly better than the last installment due to its superb drama, its engaging rhythm and its powerful and amazing set up in the end.

Jack and Renee tries to hunt down Dubaku in a cool car chase, but Marika sacrifices her life in order to help them. As a result, the Dubaku's car is accident, both (Dubaku and Marika) are got out from the by Jack and Renee, but Marika is sadly dead. Meanwhile, the mole in the FBI: Sean Hillinger takes desperate measures to protect his cover, killing his partner in the conspiracy. But in a great suspenseful scene, he is finally discovered and put under arrest.

All this events are telling to the viewers with an amazing sense of rhythm, perfect character developments and with a fashionable stylish.

But the danger can't be over only in episode 10. So in the end we have an excellent and promising new event: Jack is told by Tony that general Juma (Dubaku's boss) is planning a harsh attack in Washington. And Jack must take part.

Episode 10 from Season 7 is another superb installment due to its great script, its perfect drama and suspense and its cliffhanging ending, leaving us at the edge of our seats.

9,4/10.

Annie and Ever.
Nixie224-72-33467410 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
While the performances were first rate all around, I would like to spotlight two actresses in particular. Annie Wersching (RIP) and Ever Carradine. The two , while never interacting together, brought their A games. Fact is, while the nature of their friendship at the time of filming this episode remains unclear to me, they would later star together on Marvel's Runaways and form a close bond which resulted in Ever setting up a GoFundMe for Annie's family upon her passing in January 2023.

First Ever Carradine, in her ultimate performance on 24, saving the best for last as a woman who obviously made some bad life choices and fearing for her reputation, trying desperately to save her skin and paying the ultimate price. A performance worthy of her last name. She was sadly shot by Rhys Coiro (completing his performance as one of 24's all time slimeballs) and...died.

Meanwhile Annie may have never been better as Renee was brought to her breaking point by the events that happened to her and Bauer. Her sadness toward Rosa and her anger toward Jack should have gotten Annie an Emmy nomination.

Also that final scene between Sean and Erika may have inspired Game of Thrones.

Paying the Price
Hitchcoc2 July 2019
This episode is a really high intensity one. At the conclusion of the last episode, Dubaku fights for his life. Jack has the paramedics remove a card from his chest. It contains information about all the embedded people in the government and the FBI. Chloe, who was brought in to help with the operation, is asked to decipher the card. Meanwhile, some serious efforts at sabotage are made. Things begin to cook. This is a great setup episode. We know, of course, with fourteen episodes still to go, there is not going to be an immediate solution.

Clever and engaging.

Warning: Spoilers
After a violent car chase ensures between Bauer and Dabaku, Dabaku's girlfriend makes an heroic act and crashes the car killing herself. Other secret agents in the government working for Manjuma Begin to take action as they fear Dabaku's demise. Both Renee and Bauer begin to argue with each other over their POV's. Sean plays super mole at the CIA headquarters and kills his secret girlfriend and fools the CIA that it was her doing in the attempt to let viruses into the headquarters and have others find out vital information. Tony tells Jack later on that it isn't over.

GREAT chemistry between Jack and Renee. As well as character development for Renee's part.
