Trip in Woods Deadly
whpratt14 March 2009
A young man and his wife go on vacation to visit a home the young man inherited and they run into some rather unfriendly local town people who are not ready to become friendly.

After a few hours in the bar, the people began to trust the young man and knew his grandfather who owned the house he now owns.

There apparently was not very many women who visited the town or even lived in this town and some of the men looked with lust in their eyes at the wives.

Big trouble starts when they discover a young girl hidden in a room and this is when the trouble and murder just begins. There is a rape scene which is very terrifying for the young girl and how this matter is taken into your own hands and not the law.

Warning: Spoilers
This was like Deliverence meets a Woody Allen love problem movie and the two fight each other for the lead. The movie has a great horror mystique within it. At the same time it has several moral issues brought forth in what do you do if___??? Here a young girl is found locked in a room. What do you do? More so; What do you do when people come looking for you? Then the Woody version kicks in and all of a sudden your asked to care about the problems the 2 main couples are having in their relationships. As if PMS is a big concern when your in the woods being chased by backwoods creatures who are sex starved. All this said I must say the movie kept me interested even if it was more so for the deliverance side. There was a bit of suspense, some thrills, and some good acting from the lead and supporting cast. After all playing a dumb backwoods inbred hillbilly isn't easy.
