Not bad, but not Good either!

This is a film which isn't so bad, but definitely not one to be yelling about either. The acting was quite good in it, introducing some new talent and some old, but the storyline left little to talk about. The dialogue was poor, there were parts in the film which didn't make sense and the killings left you uncaring. It wasn't as if I felt for any of the people in this film, I made myself watch it until the end so I could see what happened, but I wasn't majorly impressed. The twist at the end didn't leave me satisfied or yearning for me, I was just happy that the film was over.

On the plus side, this was a good Urban film, full of good music, good acting and good camera-work.

Don't waste your time

I got through the first 25 minutes of this crap and couldn't watch any further. The acting is BAD! Really bad! Not to mention it looked as if it was recorded with an IPhone 5. Don't waste your time! Find something else to watch.

A movie with no imagination

If you watch the 1980's april fools and you think this is just as good, then your a fool! Basically, it's just another teen killer almost like scream. The directing and editing were descent and they the acting weren't terrible, they just lack good script. Obviously they didn't even bother creating a screenplay. lighting good, but there are no artistic quality. If your going to make an independent zero budget, at least give us something new, in either camera works or sound or an original story.

A prank gone bad, a year later, the teens involved are getting killed one by one. The killer is holding a real knife, so they don't show the stab, throat cuts, basically its unrealistic.

There's a shower scene and a little kissing, but you won't see any skin. They played two full rap songs in the movie, one is when the teens showing their dance moves and another when the protagonist was searching for her friend.

There aren't a lot of thought being put in this movie. It seems like practice for the actors and crew. not worth for a DVD release. I gave three for the poster they made.

I don't know which was worse - the horrible, unbelievable acting or the awful storyline.

It is I know what you did last summer from the hood. The motive for the killer was retarded but I don't think that was even as bad as the normal everyday reactions and decisions that the characters were supposed to be making. It made no sense. A first grader could have come up with something more creative. It isn't even good for a laugh.

This is one movie that I hoped there were going to be no survivors because none of the characters were likable. They were so stupid they deserved to die, even the daddy/policeman, who was the worst movie cops in the history of all movie cops. Everyone involved with this movie should be ashamed and embarrassed or arrested for a terrorist act.

reading the last comments left about this film i thought i would watch it to make up my own mind, well i totally agree with them, this film must have been made using a couple of camcorders a sound effects tape and about 50 quid to pay the actors (which i think would be way too much)the acting was so bad that if you had cardboard cut outs in place of them it would have been more convincing the camera work was absolutely terrible just utter utter garbage. i just wish there was a zero score cause giving this even 1 out of 10 is too much, so i plead with you don't waste your time watching this film find something more productive like go and paint a wall then watch i dry that's got to be more entertaining

Horrible Movie in MY Opinion

This has to be the biggest waste of $7 that I've ever spent. I purchased the movie after reading the summary and thought it may be good. WRONG!!!! The acting was terrible, the plot was pitiful, and the last death scene was more funny than scary. Me and my mother laughed at the ending. The killer's reason for killing everybody was so stupid and didn't make any sense whatsoever. I hate that I wasted my money on it, and even worse than that my time. I see exactly why it went straight to video. The lead girl's acting, in my opinion, was so bad and over the top at times. I would not advise anyone to watch this. I was embarrassed for the more known actors who participated in this stupid movie. I bet they regret it. My advice, PICK ANOTHER MOVIE!!!!!

There are no redeeming qualities that would lead to me recommending this

April Fools (2007) is a movie I recently rented off Amazon Prime for $3.99 this holiday season (I can't believe I paid for this movie). The story is about a group of friends that run a prank on a local kid and accidentally kill him then hide the body. As time moves on their lives are changed forever...and then the friends start getting murdered. They'll need to regroup and figure out who the killer is and stop them. This movie is directed by Nancy Norman in her directorial debut and stars Obba Babatunde (How High), Darrin Dewitt Henson (The Express), Daya Vaidya (Unforgettable) and Melanie Reif (We Got Lucky). The cinematography, writing and acting in this are all awful. I couldnt stand as the characters were introduced in the future the flashbacks to the opening scene. The twirking scene filmed her butt for an awkward long time. The Lil Flip scene at the school was also awkwardly long and a poorly developed scene. Overall, there are no redeeming qualities that would lead to me recommending this. Overall, I'd score this a 1/10 and recommend skipping it.

You'll have more fun watching the grass grow.

This movie was terrible...glad I saw it for free. The storyline and acting were awful even Obba (the cop/dad) was bad and he's an accomplished actor. He must have owed someone a favor. Hell Lil Flip was the best actor in the movie...mainly because he was being himself. The death scenes were cheesy and the final death scene..C'mon! Not only does the Missy overpower the killer with a piece of concrete, but then shows expertise in self-defense by forcing the killer to stab himself. The funny thing is they showed the entire movie in about 3 minutes after the movie before the credits rolled. They should have just let the audience endure that instead. By the time you read this you will probably already seen the entire movie. I'm sorry for you.
