Why are we focusing on irrelevant storylines and missing MAIN characters?
keefee-2160116 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This was a good episode - had this not been the final season. Why do we have no Clarke? She is the main character, and for the last 3 episodes all she has done is crawl through a cave and point a handgun at people. I don't care for Sanctum, I don't care about Eligius IV prisoners, I don't care for the Children Of Gabriel. I want the "last war" to be explained, we are 9 episodes in and we still have zero clue what this mean. I want Clarke, we have had ZERO interactions with Clarke with Bellamy and Octavia. Moreover, she just dumped Madi at Sanctum well knowing she isn't safe? Speaking of Gaia, did the writers forget about her?

This season is both very disjointed, and focuses on storylines that for now have no real connection to the supposed main plot as we are literally episodes away from the end.

Please make episode 10 and beyond more of what we want to see.

Hmmmm

Warning: Spoilers
Just don't understand why Indra didn't kill Sheidheda/Russell in that room. He was only kept alive (so they lead us to believe) because they feared an uprising from Russells followers, yet he just admitted to them all, that he was BS'n them all. So since "everyone" wants him dead now.... why not pop a cap in dat melon of his ? Other than that I like the series and it is getting interesting, even if the shows topics have been redundant for years.

The "last war" is it shade heda?
Anonuser-6255122 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Watching this last season it has been a game of following a multitude of different story lines that haven't amounted to much yet. I found myself thinking since we don't know what the last war is that they refer to on bardo, is it killing shadheda? Bill (the guy with long hair) knew that his daughter was the first to either be/interact with grounders therefore maybe knowing about shadeheda knowing he was still in the flame and needed to take him out for world peace? They say Clark is the key is that because they know Maddie is in sanctum still and she will do anything to protect her? Maybe I'm way off but just trying to think of ideas of where this season might go. Hope it gets better in the next episodes.

The episode is great, slow but important.

I loved how this episode focus on the trios. Octavia, Diyoza, Hope and Echo. These characters got some great explorations on what's going on in their minds and the decision they must made.

WHY DIDNT INDRA SHOT THAT SHADE BASTAR* IN THE HEAD WHEN SHE GOT THE CHANCE?
rebsantos21 July 2020
I saw his plot coming from a mile away. its would be so simple to solve that problem by shooting him in the last ep. now we had to deal with more of this guy... he is so boring. I wish the season would focus more on Bardo and its culture and whatever is this "last war"

This season has been a mess
Splarke2216 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
While there's been a few good/great episodes of The 100 in Season 7 so far, the overall plot of the season has been a disaster in these 9 episodes. We are now left with only 7 episodes to go, yet we STILL have no idea who/what the people of Bardo are preparing to go to war against. This is the final season of the show, yet our two lead characters Clarke & Bellamy have combined for what feels like only 10 total minutes of screen time so far. If someone who's never seen the show just started watching S7, they'd think Echo is the main character & that we've been following this huge ensemble for 6 seasons prior, when that is most definitely not the case. What makes it even worse, is that Echo is by far the most poorly written character on The 100 & the writers absolutely wasted so much potential with her character. The pacing of the storylines have been horrible as well; it feels like there's little to no progression with each passing episode when we're this close to the very end of the show. The one positive to me of 7x09 was Sheidheda's bloodbath on Sanctum & Wonkru kneeling to him. After 9 episodes of enduring the boring Sanctum storyline, it seems like it has finally picked up the pace & is going somewhere interesting!

I'm left disappointed in another episode in the final season of my favorite show. I really hope after this 2 week break, The 100 returns & gives us 7 phenomenal episodes to end off on a high note, but I'm scared that won't happen..

Well, apart from 7x03 but I don't think there's any controversy regarding that
Neptune16518 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I'm fairly certain that Echo is pretending to be brainwashed since since of her job as an Azgeda assassin is infiltration and assimilating into other cultures. Also, let's not forget she's spent most of her life impersonating the real Echo that she killed as a little girl as seen in 6x11 so we know she can be a good actor when she needs to be. Besides, I thought her face-heel turn over to the side that supposedly killed her boyfriend felt too forced and out of nowhere so if it turns out that she's not playing the long con, I'm gonna be very disapointed Also, I'm guessing Cadogan and Sheidheda will eventually join forces since Clarke will not Cadogan the knowledge he wants and Sheidheda also had the "key" only for Sheidheda to brainwash all of Cadogan's people into serving him and turn on Cadogan. My big question: What is the point of the Sanctum plot line?? It should have been left behind in season 6. This episode was by far the worst of the season. It contains the slow pace and unneeded flashbacks! Without Bell and Clarke (and barely Octavia and Raven) this season seems to be an entirely new show in which I formed no emotional connection to. I'm anxious to see if everything wraps up neatly at the end. I don't know how that's possible with only a few episodes left. I'm disappointed.

Worst plot
raviteja-kr24 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Indra is shown as a fierce, experienced and a leader. But how could she be so dumb to leave unarmed disciples with him knowing what he is. That is so poorly written. And the overconfidence that she shows saying he will get what he deserves is hilarious. She and her team could just shot him dead once the disciples come to know about him.

Echo buried all her feelings into revenge since she scarve her own face
Neptune16518 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Echo should not be at 5. Echo's choice seem hard for a punishment of Hope, but I think it was her being smart. She could not give her a lower punishment without looking like she still have a bond with her, so by giving her 5 years, she is getting closer to the "perfect soldier" and in the same time she is making sure that Hope will be safe because she know exactly where she will be. Also, I think it is understandable that Hope can not hide her emotion because compare to the others, she grow up alone. She did not learn to hide any emotion at school or at a fight with a friend or a brother or a sister because she never had anyone : no sibling, no friend, no school . She was raised by Dyoza and Octavia so no competition here or need to hide your feelings, then she was alone and then she was with the guy. She literally never learned that skill. Most of us learn this skill at school, at home or anywhere else when we are child and that we fight with another child and that we don't want this bad guy to see that he make us cry so here we learn to hide it but Hope never had that. I have to say Clarke has dropped in my list since she became a mom she just doesn't act the same and she became a dick for a while but she is a lot better now back to top 5.

Great episode, but still irrelevant
secret_arash17 July 2020
The one thing that the 100 has done perfectly over the past 6 seasons is character developments. The main characters have had so many ups and downs and sometimes we did hate some of them but overall we love them no matter what and frankly they are the only thing that make the 100 a great show.

In this season, however, after 9 episodes we haven't seen any of them do anything amazing yet. I mean, we want Clarke, Bellamy, raven, or Octavia to at least be a part of something in this final battle. Speaking of which, we dont even know exactly what it is and just hear the bardo people talk about it.

I believe the storyline of season 7 is brilliant in general but they have somehow failed to show it in the amusing ways they used to. It took me 9 episodes to be interested in the sanctum storyline which could have been wonderful from the start. And the bardo storyline is starting to piss me off. I need answers. I hope they dont uncover everything only in the final two episodes. Especially Bellamy's plot.

All in all, I still love the show and believe it is one the greatest ones I've ever seen. I just hope they dont mess up the series finale and the next 7 episodes be much greater than what we expect.

I Give Up
carp-4387911 April 2022
Who lost the plot and trashed what used to be a brilliant series? I agree with a previous poster that this season is a mess. Characters have had a complete personality change, nothing happens from episode to episode, and you know when the writers have lost it - they introduce time travel and alternate realities that never work.

Taking Vacation Time?
mdb-065301 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Did all the main characters decide to take their vacation time in the last season?

It was bad enough that when we finally see Clarke again she's trapped in a some sort monster's stomach, only to get out and then not be seen for the entire next episode, same can be said for Raven. Of course still no Bellamy to be found, do we really think he is dead? He is mostly likely on another planet, at least that's my theory.

Also as mentioned by someone before, the mistake by Indra for not taking the life of "Evil Russell." She left him alone with basically a bunch of peace loving hippies that we expect are going to suddenly turn violent and kill this guy that they worshipped not 5 minutes earlier.
