A passable Lupin special.

Elusiveness of the Fog is a passable Lupin special, but not very impressive.

Mamo Kyosuke, the classic time traveling villain from a 1972 Lupin episode is back! He sends the Lupin gang, sans Fujiko, as well as Zenigata back in time 500 years.

A large portion of the run time is consumed by a plot about two warring factions in feudal Japan. This is pretty generic stuff, and it doesn't really suit the Lupin gang. Mamo messing around with the Lupin gang is the interesting part.

Mamo is a very entertaining villain in this, quite theatrical, popping up in his time travel device and laughing at our heroes. It's enjoyable watching him get flustered by Lupin's antics, although for the most part Mamo is not used to full potential.

Fujiko wasn't sucked back in time, so instead we have one of her ancestors, the cute thief Ofumi. She's pretty fun, and it does make for some interesting "Back to the Future" style family time shenanigans. If she dies, Fujiko never exists.

Lupin and Jigen have a great dynamic with snappy dialogue like usual, and Goemon gets a bit more screen time than he often does. Zenigata has a few funny moments, but he is mostly a non factor here.

This movie doesn't have enough thrills or laughs to be a really engaging one. But while it's a pretty generic story, it does include some fun with the classic Lupin characters.

Pretty much, if you're a Lupin fan you'll want to check this out, but it's not one of the better outings.

Lupin iii film 3

It's an alright film, the travel in time is cool I guess. Funny moments with Jigen and Lupin, and more moments for Goemon, but less Zenigata. The film isn't bad but isn't great either. Honestly I would just watch it for the sake of just being a fan, but there are far better.

Now I need to exceed characters for review: It's an alright film, the travel in time is cool I guess. Funny moments with Jigen and Lupin, and more moments for Goemon, but less zenigata. The film isn't bad but isn't great either. Honestly I would just watch it for the sake of just being a fan, but there are far better.

overrated movie

Warning: Spoilers
Then this film of Lupine III ball that Lupine owed a diamond that had powers but as always you are still followed by Zenigata but a person called Mamo Kyosuke brought the trio of thieves back to the past or to the Middle Ages Japan and our people owe anything returnin their era So I know that this film had not always been appreciated by many people and not even in Japan it was much loved. Instead in other countries even my country in Italy it only has a very low score not that bad score but a little to finish reviews they give a votea little low but for me This film is overrated for me because this is one of the best Lupine III films it is on my ranking it is much higher because in this film it really has an original thing that never succeeds which is time travel The Turrets and the charactersthey are very well made what I liked the most is the princess instead something different that in this film or in the era of medieval Japan our heroes meet a person or Fujiko's ancestor and I tell you that this ancestor really has the same all things thathad the original Fujiko the character of Zenigata He is completely useless in this film But let's move on now to the villain Mamo who finally a really interesting villain who this time really has a reason to speed up will see with Lupine because he wanted to get him out of the way to make Il disappearhis successor or Lupine thirty-first because his successor had taken his girlfriend from him and if he makes his ancestor disappear his successor also disappears but here there is also a writing hole that happens every time in some films of the genre the same thing that it had happened with filmsof Terminator or he takes Lupine III but sends him to the past to kill him But I wonder why he takes Lupine since he can sabotage you in every way But he couldn't go back instead to kill Lupine when he was a newborn or go back to prevent his parents from doing that yearApple is one of those cases that happens with some that involve time travel, that is, things that happened in the past caused those who traveled in time and then it was discovered what the magical object Lupine was looking for earlier was. Hey there. Mamo's time machineSo if he hadn't made the time machine this story of the magical object wouldn't have existed at all So for me this film was one of the most interesting of the Lupine III films and I'm sorry if it isn't treated very well compared to the others worst Lupine III movies II hope that at least one other person gives you another positive review but with a very high rating and I recommend you see this film if you are a fan of Lupine III to conclude rating 9.
