I love the purge series

Warning: Spoilers
I find the siren theme music effective and really helps build the tension. The characters this season really had to grow on me compared to season 1. Ryan and his gang seemed just ok. Esme seemed just ok but as the episodes went on their characters evolved and the episodes got more interesting. Have to say Marcus's son looks more like is younger brother. Wish we saw more of his ex wife she seems to have more depth than his now wife. Purge is one of those shows they can explore in so many ways, the movies and season 1 centred around events of purge night and season 2 gives an insight to the build up not just purge night. Hope to see season 3.

Weak point of the season
conspiracaotvbr11 December 2019
Everything was very well and interestingly trimmed up to this point. But for me this episode was a let down when compared to the other ones of this season. It should have been the pinnacle of it, but it haven't delivered. The Esme plot became boring in a couple of episodes. Marcus' neighborhood last scene? Come on, I know it's 'The Purge' but it was just unrrealistic. I mean, for 2 years they were plotting to purge him and everyone related to him if needed. Ryan's gang is entertaining but just ok, very predictable heist stuff since e01. Ben's actor performance is a high here, he looked so stupid and silly on the first episodes and now he's a belieavable psycho. I think we will still get a good (yet predictable) season finale, but this episode was just a 6.5/10.

well played again

Edge of your seat episode once again carried by likable (except for Ben) Characters, an alien idea to many modern tv shows, making smart decisions (again an almost alien idea to tv writers) and dealing with the hands they're dealt, and they're still keeping it interesting. Ryan straight answers we good, random guy, bad luck, although I don't see how the others lost him. Marcus still keeps riding the moral high ground, I hope they don't make him have to kill. And Ben, man, that went way off the rails, there's going to be no happy ending in his thread, although, these writers could easily pull one out of the well planned plot for him. Bring on the next episode
