Peabody refers to "King Charles the Fifth of Spain." This king was Charles the First of Spain, with Charles the Fifth being his title as lord of the Holy Roman Empire. Furthermore, the king is portrayed as an old man in 1519, when he was younger than 20. He also speaks with a Spanish accent, but the real king was raised in Belgium, and appears to have learned French and Dutch before learning Spanish, so he probably would have spoken with a French accent. The short also ignores Charles' famous speech impediment, wherein a asymmetrically formed jaw caused him to have a pronounced lisp.
