Well, not very much can be said about this short prelude teaser, since its brevity barely allows to have a mere glimpse from the plot. At least the CGI looks fairly impressive, featuring a more mature type of aesthetic instead of the usual cookie-cutter visuals from the large majority of mainstream animated releases from the recent years.

Hope the executives don't try to "Disneyfy" the premise, turning the heroine into yet another quirky girl with a spunky personality, because I'm honestly a bit tired of seeing that overdone archetype everywhere.
And if I have to be completely honest, I would prefer the old drunken sailor to be the protagonist instead.
Hope he is at least part of the main cast and not just a throwaway extra, because he seem to be a fun character.
