I'm not sure why, but I was suspicious of Ellroy when he first showed up at the crime scene, but he quickly stole the show. He's so charming in his own little way. Hopefully he becomes a recurring character.
"I'm high. On drugs. I did drugs." "Maybe I am high, but these are still solid ideas." I loveddd the idea of Jackson and Lopez's storyline, but I felt like it could've been written a little more realistically. I've never done drugs so maybe it was realistic and I just don't know lol, but the execution of it felt a little too out-there. It was still fun, though.
Now that Jessica and Nolan aren't together, I'm really liking this Nolan-Grace thing that's going on.
Best part of the episode? Ellroy. He's the best. I also liked the Grey-Harper dynamic. Seeing her paired up with different characters has been really interesting. OH! And of course, Chen and Bradford always.
Worst part of the episode? Nothing. I can't think of the reason why I didn't give this episode a 10, but something that I can't figure out is stopping me from doing it even though this was a greattt episode.
