Let me get something straight: I LOVE the original game, but I don't exactly like this. It's a bit more hastily thrown together. Your choices are much more limited than the original game, and sometimes your given no choice at all for something you could decide in the original. The only reason to watch/play this is if you don't have the game. The game is unavailable now, so this is your best chance. It also doesn't even include episodes 6-8 of Season 1 or ANY of Season 2. If they ever re-release the game, play that instead of this.

not the best thing ever

I would say play this since its on netflix, but honestly, despite the nostalgia I have for the original game, its actually pretty forgettable. Still love Petra and Ivor tho.

Great Concept! Sub-par Execution

The game is loved worldwide and this concept had a great potential as an interactive feature. BUTTT.. the execution went has completely south! I hope new seasons will have more options for the viewers and more interesting story line to play with.

Ignorant and lazy

Made by people who know nothing about Minecraft or interactive storytelling. I feel like hardly any of my decisions are meaningful and the writers knowledge of Minecraft barely extends past the fact it's a world made of blocks.

Great Childhood Game

Minecraft Story Mode season one is a great game. Throughout the game I found myself laughing several times. As a first time player of the game although I had a bit of knowledge from playthroughs I have watched in the past it was still an amazing experience. The story was amazing and although sometimes I wished the choices could have been different as they sometimes seemed similar.

The Characters of the game were all amazing and my favorite had to have been Ivor, with him yelling adventure at the end of certain episodes. It makes me wish the game was longer with more adventures. And I guess I have season 2 to look forward too. So that's Good.
