This post has been updated with new information. Actress Erin Moran has died at the age of 56. The star, who was best known for her role as Joanie Cunningham in Happy Days, was found unresponsive at her Indiana home on Saturday, Us Weekly reports. Authorities responded to a 911 call to the home and pronounced her dead at the scene. "An autopsy is pending," the Harrison County Sheriff's Department told the Associated Press in a statement. On Monday, the local coroner's office confirmed that Erin "likely succumbed to complications of stage 4 cancer." She also appeared on episodes of Diagnosis Murder and The Bold and the Beautiful in 1998 and 2009, respectively. She also is credited with having small roles in the films Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star,...

Back in November Dread Central told you about an innovative “Create Your Own Killer” contest being held by writer/director Joshua Hull (Beverly Lane) for his upcoming horror comedy Idiot Gore.
